Dear Student (and Parents),

Thank you for including the Belize Mission Trip in your Spring Break plans.  We have accepted your application this is the first stop in your journey to Belize.  

The next steps are listed below:

January 7, 2007  Parental permission, and consent for medical treatment form – MUST be notarized.  (Joy Johnson our Church Office Manager is a Notary.)

January 28, 2007 Two copies of your passport or a copy of your passport application

If you do not have one start now!  Go to http://travel.state.gov/passport

January 31, 2007 – Fifty (50) percent of trip cost is due.

March 4, 2007 – Ninety (90) percent of trip cost is due.  Those on the Wait List will replace those not meeting this deadline.

Meetings (dates subject to change – times to follow)

January 20 – Students & Parents – What you need to know, Projects + Q & A

February 17 – Students – Ministry and Construction Training

March 4 – Final guidelines + Optional Immunizations

March 25 – Packing of Supplies

Fundraising - Here are some tips if you plan to send out fundraising letters:

• Donations are tax deductible if made payable to Spencerville Church
• Include a tear off section in your letter & a preaddressed return envelope  
• Deliver them or have them sent to Joy Johnson at the Church Office

Parents – Would you be willing to be on our fund raising committee?  We need a team of parents & students to run this part of the trip. Would you be willing to help?
