Dear Team Member (and Parents),

First, a reminder about our meeting this Sunday at 11:00am; it will start with a short talk by Karen McClure of Passport Health on the health risks in Belize.  As a travel health firm they provide inoculations you may choose to receive.  While none are required you may want to some minimize risks.  Payment for these services is required there and they do not bill medical insurance.  You may also make a private appointment at their offices.

We will introduce some new team members and spend a few minutes getting to know each other better.  Projects will be reviewed and we will discuss some of the choices we will need to make about our outreach.  We hope to be able to make some simple assignments to minimize planning time after we arrive.

We will spend time getting all your questions answered but you can save time by making sure you have read the trip guidelines. There will be a quiz over them.  Ok so, there won’t be a grade but things go smoothly when they are perfectly followed, really! 

Reasons to come early:

1. Passport Health will start at 10:30 for those who have heard the talk before and are ready to receive inoculations.

2. Check in by 10:50, make sure your name is correct on your ticket and everything is in.

3. Turn in any missing items if not please let us know exactly when they will be in.

4. Eat breakfast at the Senior Breakfast, it is the last one for the year.

Missing items & deadlines: If you have any missing times I have noted them with this letter.   The deadline for the final money is March 9, ten days before we travel.  You can imagine how pressed we will be in the final days to get money moved for our projects.  If you have money coming in after that please let me know we can work with you.

Bible Sponsorship:  We will be inviting Spencerville members to sponsor a Bible each of the Sabbath’s in March.  This allows us to give our Bibles as part of our outreach project.  Team members who can help with this for even part of the time from 9:30am until after second service are greatly appreciated.  If you are not a Spencerville member maybe you would like to try this at your church.
