This year I am giving up my spring break to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic.  Our group will be staying on the near San Pedro de Macoris.  We are building a new school in a poor village.  The old school is very small and the students have been going to school in shifts.  The roof has holes in it from being put back on so many times after hurricanes hit.  

We will be working with another Seventh-day Adventist school helping to add additional classrooms so more students can attend. Also ministry projects with the local churches are planned.  Some of our minstry projects will be holding VBS for children in poor villages and door-to-door visitation.   Students who went last year came back very excited and reported it was a life changing experience.

I know it will be hard work but I am looking forward to serving and learning about another culture.  I am asking my friends and family to help me with the cost of this trip.  I will also be doing other fund-raising, but I need half the $1,450 cost of the trip by February 15^th, and the rest by March when we leave.

If you like to help me with the cost of this trip I know you will be blessed to see all that we are able to accomplish in just eleven days.  Also, I am sure this is a trip I will always remember as a great experience.  Whether or not you are able to help me financially please, keep me and our whole group in your prayers.
